Sanyo, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electronic goods, has created a monument to solar power in the form of a solar powered building to overshadow all others; and it’s a feat of modern architecture.
The colossal Solar Ark, named for its gently curved boat shape, is over 1,000ft wide and an astonishing 120ft tall. The exterior of the ark is panelled with of over 5,000 solar panels that generate over 500,000kWh of green energy a year.
